According to statistics, the population of tigers in India has risen in past few years. According to the National Tiger Conservation Authority of India (NTCA), the population of tigers was 1410 in the year 2006 and later than it was 2625 in the year of 2014.

Madhya Pradesh is one of the best places to see tiger safari in India. Bandhavgarh national park is situated in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh and it has the highest density of tigers in the park area. Earlier, the national park was the land of white tigers but later the last white tiger was seen by Maharaja Martand Singh in around 1951.
The national park is separated in different zones according to the variety of animals and the Tata zone is the best area to find the tigers. The park is also home to some other animals like Chittal, Sambhar deer, leopard, wild dog, blue bull, Indian bison, Indian fox, sloths, monkeys, and around 240 species of Birds.
Ranthambore National Park is situated in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan and it is the most famous tiger reserves in India. The park has an area of around 1400 sq km and it is home to more than 40 tigers. Along with tigers, the national park is home to some other animal species too such as leopards, bears, hyenas, wild cats, Indian foxes, crocodiles, and jackals.
Tadoba- Andhari national park is one the very less known tiger reserves in India but the park also has a good amount of tiger’s population in the area. Apart from tigers, the national park is also home to leopards, sloths, and around 200 species of birds such as crested serpent eagle, the grey-headed fish eagle, changeable hawk eagle, and more.
Jim Corbett National Park is situated in foothills of Himalayas. The park has less density of tigers so, it’s on your luck that whether you will find tigers here or not. The park is famous for its large population of the wild elephants which you can find roaming around the Ranganga River. The park is also home to many other species like langurs, chital, macaque, and so many birds.
Sundarban National Park is one of the largest national parks in the world and it is famous for its high density of Royal Bengal Tigers. The national park is home to more than 400 tigers whom you can spot roaring around rivers and estuaries. Apart from tigers, you can also spot some other animals like leopards, cats, chitals, langurs, monkeys, sambhar deers, elephants and more.
Nagarhole tiger safari in India is situated in Karnataka and the park is mostly known for its largest numbers of Asian elephants in the world. It doesn’t have a high density of tigers but they can often spot nearby hills and ponds. Apart from tigers. Apart from tigers and elephants, the park is also home to leopards, wild dogs, deers, and some species of birds.
Periyar National Park is another best tiger safari situated in Kerala. Apart from tigers, the national park is known for its rich biodiversity which attracts tourists from all over the world. In the last few years, the population of tigers has increased in the Periyar tiger reserve of India. Along with tigers, it has a high density of wild elephants too. The park is also home to other animals like gaur, sambar, wild pig, flying squirrel, jungle cat, giant squirrel, sloth bear, Nilgiri tahr, macaque, langurs, fruit bat, mongoose, and Nilgiri marten.
Sariska Tiger Reserve is situated in Alwar district of Rajasthan which has an area of around 273 sq km. the park has more than 15 tigers in the area which you can see while visiting.
Manas tiger reserve is situated in foothills of Assam and it is known for its good density of tigers. The park has different for different types of animals and according to current statistics, there are more than 60 tigers are living in the area of the park.
Indravati tiger reserve is one of the famous tiger safaris in India which is located in Dantewada district of Chattisgarh. The park was established in 1983 and currently, it has more than 50 species of tigers in the area of the park.
